September 6, 2012 - Engineered to seamlessly integrate into most fixture designs, TR-SS1 Series LED Core(TM) Garage Modules utilize neutral White LEDs ranging from 4,500-5,000 K, with typical CRI of 75. Units include Class 2 power supplies with 100-277 V universal voltage and EMI Class A rating. Supplied in one-piece die-cast aluminum housing for optimal thermal management, modules feature Type V DLC compliant optics. Available lenses are UV stabilized polycarbonate.

Thomas Research Products' LED Core(TM) Integrated Light Engine Module Hits 100 LPW


Huntley, Illinois --- Thomas Research Products is pleased to announce that their LED Core(TM) series of integrated light engine modules have exceeded 100 lumens per watt. Thomas Research Products is a leading manufacturer of SSL power solutions.

The TR-SS1 series LED Core(TM) Garage Modules feature Type V DLC Compliant optics. Integrated sphere photometric testing of the high efficacy "e" versions demonstrates that these products produce up to 104 lumens per watt.

TRP capitalizes on their experience in driver design to match the LED Drivers and the optics to the LED array, for specific applications. This provides OEMs lower system development costs plus faster time to market. TR-SS1 series products are engineered to seamlessly integrate into most fixture designs. Other available Garage Modules in the series, as well as Canopy Modules with Type V short lenses, produce 68-81 lpw.

TR-SS1 modules utilize neutral White LEDs (4500-5000K), with typical 75 CRI. They include TRP's Class 2 universal voltage (100-277Vac) power supplies with high power factor and EMI Class A rating. A key product feature is the robust one-piece die-cast aluminum housing for superior thermal management and durability. Modular design makes it easy to replace key components. Available lenses are UV stabilized polycarbonate.
