Developed to incorporate servomotors and encoders of OEMs, H150R.NC Series features corrosion-resistant, stainless steel housing and can be constructed with various spindle configurations. Spindle tapers and styles include CAT or BT 40 and 50, HSK63, 3-jaw chuck with through hole and 150 mm dia faceplate. Tapers can be pneumatically opened and closed to allow for robotic or manual loading. Automatic indexing and ability to Turn and Burn are possible, depending on machine control capabilities.

Hirschmann "B" Axis With HSK63 Taper For Wire EDM
HIRSCHMANN Engineering USA, Inc., Buffalo Grove, Illinois announces the availability of the Model H150R.NC, an integrated B-axis for horizontal or vertical use on both wire and sink EDMs.
The H150R.NC series axis was developed to incorporate servo motors and encoders of various OEMs making it possible for integration directly to the machine control. Automatic indexing and the ability to "Turn & Burn" are possible depending on the machine control capabilities. The encoder is mounted directly to the axis spindle to ensure the highest possible accuracy.
The H150R.NC utilizes a newly designed feature that allows the axis to be easily constructed with various spindle configurations. Spindle tapers and styles include: CAT or BT 40 and 50, HSK63, 3-jaw chuck with a through hole and a 150mm diameter face plate. The tapers can be pneumatically opened and closed to allow for robotic or manual loading. Manual and pneumatic clampers are also available for manual and robotic loading. Pneumatic clampers from HIRSCHMANN's 5000 and 6000 systems as well as clampers from other EDM tooling systems can be used with these products.
HIRSCHMANN axes and rotary tables are available for and have been approved for integration by Accutex EDM, Agie, Charmilles, Fanuc, Makino and Mitsubishi machines.
All HIRSCHMANN rotary axes and tables are fully submersible and do not require air pressure purging. The axes' housings are manufactured from a single block of corrosion resistant stainless steel and are precision ground to the axis. Some models are available in a non-stainless construction. Over eight models are available with 80mm to 800mm diameter mounting surfaces.
Stand alone programmable NC controls for non "Turn and Burn" applications are available and can be interfaced via M-Code to machine controls for automatic operations.
HIRSCHMANN GmbH, an ISO 9001 certified company, manufactures all the tables and axes in Germany. Currently there are more than 600 units installed worldwide with over 175 of them installed and running in the United States. Construction of the first models took place over 20 years ago. Many of those tables are still in use in a variety of EDM applications.
