Instant-Cure Cyanoacrylate Adhesive forms strong bonds.
June 19, 2008 -
Formulated to produce bonds with shear as high as 2,800 psi, MB297 is supplied as viscous liquid adhesive with viscosity of 2,000-2,400 cps at 20°C. Colorless solution, resistant to effects of extreme humidity, has refractive index of 1.48 and service operating temperature range of -65 to 185°F. Cures are moisture activated, and bonds are instantaneously formed with glass, metals, ceramics, plastics, and elastomers.
Shore A hardness is 85.

Hackensack, NJ. May 28, 2008-Master Bond Inc, Hackensack, NJ is pleased to announce the introduction of a high strength "instant cure" cyanoacrylate adhesive called MB297. In addition to high strength bonds as high as 2800 psi in shear, it provides better general resistance to effects of extreme humidity. MB297 is supplied as a viscous liquid adhesive with a viscosity (at 20°C) of 2000-2400 cps. Its appearance is colorless, and the refractive index is 1.48. Its service operating temperature range is from -55°C to +85°C (-65°F to 185°F).
Master Bond MB 297 cures are moisture activated and bonds are almost instantaneously formed. It creates excellent bonds to metals, ceramics, plastics and elastomers. Examples of tensile shear strengths include PVC (rigid) to PVC (rigid) 2,800 psi, glass to glass 2,700 psi, delrin to delrin 1,000¬ psi and steel to steel 2,440 psi. The Shore A hardness is 85. The cured product has excellent optical clarity and is resistant to many chemicals. Master Bond MB297 is available in 1/3 ounce, 1 ounce and 1 lb bottles.
