TISCOR Packages Inspection Manager with Powerful New Features for Palm Users Latest Feature-Rich Upgrade Includes Incident Tasking, New Question Sets

SAN DIEGO---June 12, 2002--TISCOR today unveiled the newest version of Inspection Manager, packed with innovative new features and a completely revised Palm interface. The latest features include Palm pick list and time question types, incident level tasking, a location list, and status views, increasing the ease and efficiency of site and equipment inspections for mobile workers, according to Chip Rumis, TISCOR President and CEO. "We've put several new features into this Inspection Manager upgrade, allowing Palm users to harness the power of the software like never before," said Rumis. "Palm users will have access to a wide range of new features that enhance mobility, functionality, and flexibility while maximizing productivity."

This Palm version has been totally redesigned, facilitating speed and accuracy in the field. Features include:
- Incident Tasking. This allows users to assign an individual question or a series of questions and question sets to different incidents. When an incident is chosen, a list of pre-assigned questions automatically appears, allowing users to enter more detailed information about each incident.
- Palm Pick List. Previously, when users answered multiple choice questions, they only had four choices available on the device. If the user wanted more range, they would have to enter in free text. The Palm Pick List provides a drop down list that can have an unlimited number of answers for users to select from. This frees users from answering questions in text form, saving time and improving accuracy by eliminating the data entry in free text.
- Location List and Status Views. This list shows missed checkpoints or locations that were only partially completed on the Palm while performing a route.
- New Question types: Time and Pick List. For example, the time question allows users to enter the time of an incident in addition to the date, delivering more detail.
- More Flexible, User-Friendly Format. Allows users to access more options without scanning. Inspection Manager is currently in use at hundreds of facilities in virtually every industry. Using software and hand-held computers, the system automates inspection activities and proves compliance to various regulatory agencies. Inspection Manager allows users to collect data with hand-held computers, transferring all information electronically to a host PC.
