October 7, 2008 - Capable of reading both Fahrenheit and Celsius of any surface-solids, semi-solids, and liquids, Traceable® Infrared Thermometer offers temperature range of -27 to 428°F and -33 to 220°C, with accuracy of ±1°C + 2%, and resolution of 0.1°. Unit offers fixed emissivity of 0.95, and can hold or freeze display at current reading, while its field of view is 1:1. Measuring 3¼ x ¾ in., and weighing ¾ oz, unit features display that also indicates low battery.

Control Company's new Traceable® Infrared Thermometer's operation is simple-turn on, point at sample, and take a reading in less than a second. Units read both Fahrenheit and Celsius of any surface-solids, semi-solids, and liquids. Non-invasive, no-touch, measurements are ideal for food preparation, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, petroleum products, clean rooms, electronics, and field use.

Temperature range is -27 to 428°F and -33 to 220°C. Resolution is 0.1°. Accuracy is ±1°C + 2%. To assure accuracy an individually serial-numbered Traceable® Certificate is provided from our ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

Hold, freezes the display at the current reading. Field of view is 1:1. The fixed emissivity of 0.95 covers 90% of all applications. Features a handy pocket clip, key-chain, and lanyard. Size is 3-¼ x ¾ inches. Weight is ¾ ounces. Display indicates low battery. Batteries are supplied with unit.
