New Compact, Highly Precise Digital Infrared Pyrometers

Mikron Infrared, Inc., introduces the self-contained Model MI-N5+ Series digital infrared pyrometers for non-contact temperature measurement. The MI-N5+ series features high resolution optics, small size, high accuracy of 0.6%, 0/4-20mA analog and RS232 or RS485 digital outputs. The MI-N5+ Series is also available with built-in laser aiming and fast response down to l0ms.

The MI-N5+ measures temperatures between -32 to 900°C in the spectral range of 8-14 microns or 5 microns Model MI-N5/5+ for measuring glass temperature. Parameters such as emissivity, response time, analog output and online/offline mode can be set directly on the unit. Emissivity is user-adjustable from 0.20 - 1.00 in 0.01 increments.

All sensor parameters can be adjusted remotely via a digital interface to a PC with InfraWin software including sub-temperature ranges and laser on and off activation.

In addition, up to 32 pyrometers can be daisy chained. For multiple sensor parameter adjustments, an optional handheld programming module, MI-HT6000, allows programming of all parameters.
