Milwaukee's Trade Titan(TM) Industrial Work Cart Program Delivers Heavy Duty Productivity
Press release date: May 3, 2006
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces the Trade Titan(TM) program of industrial work carts and accessories specifically designed for the construction and maintenance trades that deliver heavy duty productivity on the job or in the plant.
Designed from the ground up for durability, the Trade Titan(TM) carts are constructed of heavy duty structural foam with steel reinforced decks. They easily withstand rugged jobsite environments and heavy payloads. With industrial grade 6" x 2" non-marking rubber casters and total lock brakes, these carts also provide heavy duty mobility for smooth, quiet performance on institutional floors and debris covered jobsite areas.
Available in two configurations, the Trade Titan(TM) Carts provide organized storage for all of the tools, supplies and equipment that the trades use to do their job each day. The 48-60-5010 Trade Titan(TM) Cart is a two shelf cart while the 48-60-5015 Trade Titan(TM) cart includes a large lockable cabinet. Both carts have a dedicated storage location for a cordless drill, a large 4-1/2" deep open storage area for fasteners, fittings and parts boxes and a lockable drawer. Secure Vertical Storage for long handled tools like pipe benders is also provided along with 2 storage hooks that hold a Milwaukee Job Site Radio, Multi-Bay Charger, extension cords or hoses. With a dedicated 16" x 16" worksurface that accepts a replaceable ¾" plywood insert and a molded in material cutting groove the Trade Titan(TM) carts make prefabrication operations quick and easy. The 48-60-5115 Heavy Duty 2-½" Chain Vise accessory mounts in-line to the molded-in material cutting groove for secure cutting applications.
With an extended front deck, the Trade Titan(TM) carts are extremely versatile and customizable for specific work applications. A 6' ladder can be vertically stored on the front deck while still allowing the cart to pass through a standard 80" doorway. Alternatively, three trade accessories can be mounted on the front deck including the Heavy-Duty Removable Wire Spool Rack, the Heavy-Duty Acetylene Tank and Fire Extinguisher Mounting Kit and the Industrial Locking Tool Chest.
These trade accessories allow electrical, plumbing/mechanical contractors and maintenance trades to set up their work cart to organize and handle the tools and materials that they use every day. Additionally, nine stake holes in the top of the cart accept standard ¾" conduit and allow for further cart customization by the trades. These stake holes stakes can be used to create a pipe cart to securely move bundles of material around the job. They can also be used to create a removable means to hang building plans for quick reference.
