AIS Releases Low Cost Industrial Panel PC's for Process Control and Monitoring Applications
IRVINE, CA - American Industrial Systems Inc. (AIS), has unveiled a new low cost 10.1" Panel PC featuring Intel® Atom N270 Processor to answer the demand of today's tight budget conscious economy. It features low power consumption, fanless operation, integrated touchscreen, LED backlight, and IP54 dust/water protection. Utilizing the Intel® Atom processor provides excellent fanless performance at a fraction of the cost. AIS' Industrial Panel PC solution would be an ideal solution for automation control, HMI, testing equipment, process monitoring, kiosks and digital signage.
The unit is encased in a steel and aluminum chassis, protecting the components from harsh industrial environments including shock/vibration, dust, water, wide temperatures, and excessive use. Custom OSD buttons are mounted on the front bezel for quick an easy brightness adjustments to cater to the environment. Standard VESA mounts or mounting clips are available for easy mounting to any fixture. Our COTS (commercial off the shelf) 10.1" LED Backlight unit is currently available with 8.4" and 15" models coming soon to the values series line. By utilizing LED technology and the Intel Atom Processor we have provided an extremely lower power solution, enhancing the reliability of the unit.
