November 25, 2002 - Generation Two blenders mix gases from cylinders, dewars, or bulk supply systems and distribute them through pipeline system to welder stations/process equipment. Blends remain consistent, regardless of withdrawal rate. Users can change blends as desired. Flow capacities are available from 2,000 to 10,000 SCFH. Construction includes stainless steel, liquid-filled pressure gauges; electronic pressure switch; and 400 W enclosure heater.

The Generation Two blenders are part of Acme’s new line of industrial grade blenders. The blenders’ versatile features, coupled with their ability to achieve a high level of blend accuracy (± 2%) make Generation Two blenders a sensible choice for a wide variety of applications.
Generation Two blenders will blend gases from cylinders, dewars or bulk supply systems, and then distribute them through a pipeline system to welder stations or other process equipment. Blends will remain consistent, regardless of withdrawal rate, as long as operating parameters remain constant. Additionally, Generation Two blenders allow users to change blends as desired. As with most gas blending systems, Generation Two blenders can offer significant savings (time and cost), as well as added convenience, over the use of pre-mixed gases.
