Scapa 440 Series tape, suited for taping, bundling, and sealing applications, is made of polyethylene coated cloth single-coated with high-tack, natural rubber adhesive. Product does not exhibit edge ooze, can be torn by hand, will not twist or curl during application, and adheres to poly films and sheeting. Scapa 441 is 7.0 mil thick, Scapa 442 is 8.5 mil thick, and Scapa 448 is 11.0 mil thick.

Windsor, Connecticut - February 2, 2004.... Scapa North America offers the Scapa 440 Series of industrial duct tapes for general purpose taping, bundling, and sealing applications. All three products are made up of polyethylene coated cloth single coated with a high tack natural rubber adhesive. Individual product thicknesses and performance data vary.
440 Series products offer high adhesion over a wide range of temperatures without the "edge ooze" associated with other duct tapes. They have excellent unwind properties, can be easily torn by hand, will not twist or curl during application, and offer superior adhesion to poly films and sheeting. Scapa 441 is a 7.0 mil thick tape. Scapa 442 is 8.5 mils thick. At 11.0 mils thick, Scapa 448 woks well in applications requiring increased tensile strength and adhesion.
