Binder-USA Upgrades 7/8" Industrial Connectors with Diecast Threaded Ring

Camarillo, CA - Binder-USA is pleased to announce an upgrade of its Series 820 7/8" industrial connectors. The design improvement features a new diecast threaded locking nut with a SW24 hexagon outer contour for better tightening of mating connectors. The 7/8" connectors are ideally suited for industrial network applications.

The previous aluminum locking nut is now replaced with a nickel-plated diecast zinc locking nut. Each nut has an anti-vibration feature to ensure the connectors stay in mated condition when properly fastened. All Series 820 field-attachable male and female connectors include the new locking nut.

Available features of the upgraded connectors are straight and right-angle versions that will accept cable diameters between 6 and 14 mm. All of Binder-USA's 7/8" connectors, cordsets and receptacles are available with 2+PE, 4 or 4+PE gold-plated contacts. An installation wrench is available from Binder-USA for simple and proper tightening of the locking nut to its mating connector.

Binder-USA, LP is a subsidiary of Franz Binder GmbH & Co., a German-based designer and manufacturer of circular connectors and cordsets for use in industrial environments including factory automation, process control, and medical technology applications.
