Testo Introduces NEW 4-Gas Industrial Combustion Analyzer for Testing NOx, Low NOx, CO, O2 and SO2

Sparta, NJ - Testo is announcing the release of their newest portable combustion analyzer the testo 340. This advanced 4-gas portable analyzer incorporates special design features specifically for engine and boiler tuning, maintenance and demanding industrial combustion analysis.

For the greatest testing flexibility the 340 measures Oxygen and up to three other user selected gases such as Co, COlow, NO, NOlow, NO2, and SO2. Testo's exclusive plug & play sensor technology allows the convenience of exchanging sensors in the field for additional measurement opportunities. The 340 features replaceable interference filters which extend the normal lifespan of sensors along with a filter lifetime display in ppm hours. The benefits of pre-calibrated sensors eliminate the need for expensive calibration gases on site. The testo 340 also incorporates an advanced dilution system that enables a CO testing range to 50,000 ppm, NO to 15,000 ppm and SO2 to 25,000 ppm. These are optimum testing ranges for engine and boiler tuning, high concentration applications, or un-controlled combustion.

The 340 features controlled flow gas sampling for constant reading. This feature effectively eliminates challenges like high draft conditions, or heavy particulate loading with the increased pumping capacity to 1.0 L/min (regulated) 80" WC. and a modular probe and hose system that incorporates a cam lock for secure connections for sampling up to 25 feet away.

The 340 can handle up to 18 fuels for the greatest testing flexibility and has numerous functions explicitly designed to simplify combustion testing and produce the most reliable results. These built-in features include extensive memory management, automatic programs, data logging and on screen graphic displays of sensor output that provides important sensor-health information. Printable calibration logs, battery status, sample flow and leak check are just some more of the many valuable diagnostic tools. In addition, the testo 340's automatic sample dilution extends the sensor life for maximum output and its moisture management system has alarms that signal when limits are exceeded and automatically shuts down the sample pump if necessary.

The testo 340 weighs only 2 lbs and is backed by a two year instrument warranty and a one year sensor warranty.
