June 2, 2009 - Featuring sizes ranging from miniscule 4-30 mm, inductive sensors are available in short-housing models with option of square or rectangular shape. They offer choice of NAMUR, AC/DC, NPN or PNP output, NO or NC output, and programmable output, and come with 2, 3, or 4-wire, connector or cable, with 360° LED indicator. Choice between shielded or unshielded sensors is available for high-heat and standard applications.

ASI's New Inductive Sensors


Mechanicsburg, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. has announced the introduction of a new line of Inductive Sensors. Included in this new line of sensors are a wide range of sizes ranging from a miniscule 4mm to the larger 30mm application, also available in short-housing models. Along with the option of square or rectangular shape, come other options such as NAMUR, AC/DC, NPN or PNP Output, NO or NC Output, and Programmable output. For high-heat and standard applications, a choice between shielded or unshielded sensors is available to protect the sensor. The high temperature inductive sensors can operate in environments up to 230 degrees centigrade. The sensors are available in 2,3 or 4-wire, connector or cable, with an additional feature being a unique 360° LED indicator, producing amplified detection to give superb responsiveness.
