Available in 13 models, SM Type Transithermic® Power Supplies cover 0.5-20 kHz with 100-800 kW output power, and 100 kW output is available over frequency range of 20-150 kHz. Supplies have up to 90% efficiency, digital control, and modular design with plug-in power control cards. They utilize IGBT transistors and include Digital Control Panel with built-in diagnostics. Transithermic power supplies can operate at variable frequencies and frequency is automatically coupled to load.

GH IA Introduces New Induction Heating Power Supplies with Wide Frequency Range
Rochester NY - GH Induction Atmospheres, part of the worldwide GH Group, has introduced a new series of 13 induction heating power supplies with a wide frequency range for increased flexibility. The SM Type Transithermic® Power Supplies cover 0.5 to 20 kHz with 100 to 800 kW output power; 100 kW output is available over the extended frequency range of 20 to 150 kHz.
With up to 90% efficiency, high reliability, and easy-to-use digital control, the SM Type Power Supplies are an ideal choice for both new installations and existing systems. "With the flexibility provided by the extended operating range," reports GH IA General Manager Steve Skewes, "SM Type power supplies will be quite popular as replacement power sources for many existing industrial heat treating machines."
SM Type Power Supplies features a modular design with plug-in power control cards. The power supplies utilize IGBT transistors and include a DCP (Digital Control Panel) with built-in diagnostics and optional kW/sec. monitoring. A series oscillating circuit offers high efficiency and easy load matching. GH transithermic power supplies can operate at variable frequencies; the frequency is automatically coupled to the load, in every application, within a wide range.
