OSA-LATOR Indexing Table Line Offers New Head / Tailstock Models

(Niagara Falls, NY – June 24, 2004) In response to customer requests, a new head/tailstock model has just been added to the OSA-LATOR® indexing table line. With the same underlying mechanical geometry of other OSA-LATOR models, the new tables differ only in the physical structure of the table top. Where traditional OSA-LATOR models featured either the dial or rectangular top, this new model offers a pair arms on each side of a sloped table with cycloidal bearings that can be attached to a variety of different drives. The new head / tailstock model is the first OSA-LATOR table to offer two axes of motion.

Currently available in LP2000 two-position tables, this design can be customized to fit other OSA-LATOR table models. The distance between the head/tailstock faceplates can also be modified. The LP2000-2X-HT model pictured with this release offers a 1,000 lb. capacity head/tailstock unit with a swing radius of 20” on each of the table’s two positions. Although this new OSA-LATOR model does not automatically come with them, the drives of your choice can be supplied upon request.

OSA-LATOR robotic indexing tables are distributed in the U.S. through Fork-Levator Inc., Niagara Falls, New York and in Canada through Trans-Quip Inc., Grimsby, Ontario. Please visit www.osalator.com for additional information.
