CommuniGator Releases Inbox Testing for Mobile Devices

GODALMING, England - Following the launch of GatorMail's Inbox Checker in 2009 CommuniGator (http://www.communigator.co.uk) are proud to announce the introduction of advanced inbox testing for all of the commonly used operating systems for handheld email devices, including BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile

The rendering of HTML emails in the inboxes of the widely used desktop email clients and online ESPs has always been one of the key factors in successful email marketing. In 2009 CommuniGator launched the Inbox Checker, which returns the user screenshot images of how their emails will display in programs such as Outlook and Lotus Notes, as well as providers such as Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail. Alongside this HTML emails are rated by the market leading spam filtering devices, giving an indication of how likely email communications are to be delivered, as well as a clear indication of what the recipient will see when they arrive.

One of the more common questions asked by customers is how emails will display in handheld devices such as BlackBerry, iPhone and the Windows Mobile operating system, so the next logical progression was to serve similar screenshots for each of these devices.

"With the ever increasing usage of handheld devices for email it is vital for the marketer to understand the recipient experience on receipt of HTML emails. Following the successful launch of our Inbox Checker module, the next step in our product roadmap was to provide a view of how emails will render in the more popular of these devices, for example BlackBerry and iPhone." - Lee Chadwick, MD, CommuniGator Ltd

Chadwick continues to say "We now have a facility to feedback to our customers with screenshots and scrolling images prior to sending of campaigns, giving a crucial insight into the recipient's perception of each piece of HTML that our customers send."

Michael Cottrell, Marketing Manager, CommuniGator Ltd, adds "Provision of best practice HTML email templates is a key part of our service offering at CommuniGator, so it is essential that we keep our rulebook up to date with the latest technological advances. The Advanced Inbox Checker gives a new perspective to add to this service, allowing us to offer even more value to our customers."
