In-Line Turbine Flow Meters use one moving part.
December 10, 2002 - Series C-ES45-C 2–8 in. flow meters use 1 precision-machined helical rotor as only moving part. Rotation is electronically detected and processed. Jewel bearings and polished tungsten-carbide shafts minimize friction. Available with blind pulse or 4-20 mA output, units are provided with individually calibrated turbine meters. Modular electronics can be meter- or remote-mounted for transmitting signals up to 2,000 ft. Product is offered in 3 body materials.

FloCat Showcases Precision Machined In-Line Turbine Flow Meter C-ES45-C
Racine, WI., December 1, 2002: The C-ES45-C family of 2" to 8" turbine flow meters uses one moving part, a precision-machined helical rotor. Rotation of the rotor is electronically detected and processed. High quality jewel bearings and polished tungsten-carbide shafts minimize friction while providing long wear life in non-lubricating fluids.
Product Features:
• Jeweled bearings for enhanced performance.
• Turbine rotor is the only moving part, optimizing low-flow performance.
• Available with blind pulse or 4-20mA output.
• In-line, individually calibrated turbine meter maximizes accuracy.
• Modular electronics can be meter-mounted or remote.
• Signal may be transmitted up to 2,000 feet.
The C-ES45-C is offered in three body materials: PVC, 304 Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel. Modular electronics that can be mounted on the meter include a unit to display rate and total as well as provide a 4-20mA analog signal and a programmable pulse output or a 4-20mA blind transmitter. Both of these are available in housings for remote mounting up to 2,000 feet away.
