December 3, 2002 - Two-pole, double-throw Series 711, with 12 A contacts, is available in standard AC or DC input voltages. LEDs indicate if input is powered, and will show current contact positioning. Contacts stay in last energized position, with no external power required, indefinitely until re-application of input voltage generates a change in position. Two optional snap-on adapters allow relay to be flange or DIN-rail mounted, either standing on end or lying on side.

Class 711 Relay UL Recognition

As part of our continuing effort to provide you with innovative products for your customers, Magnecraft-Struthers Dunn is pleased to announce our new 711 Series relay has obtained UL Recognized Component status.

The 711 Relay is a two-pole double-throw impulse relay with 12 Amp contacts. It is available in all standard AC or DC input voltages. All versions will bear the UL Recognized Symbol, which will separate us from our competition.

The 711 Relay is available with status indicating LED's that indicate if the input is powered, but will also show the current contact positioning. According to Tom Mahaffey, an Engineer with Magnecraft & Struthers-Dunn, the 711 Relay has several unique features. Since the contacts in an impulse relay change state each time the input is energized, the LED indicator can be a very useful feature. Secondly, the 711's contacts stay in their last energized position, with no external power required, indefinitely until the re-application of input voltage generates a change in position.

The 711 Relay has two optional snap-on adaptors that will allow the 711 to be flange or DIN rail mounted either standing on end or lying on its side. The 711 Relay will also fit 70-463-1 Socket that also fits our 283, 388, and similar style latch or time delay relays.

Magnecraft & Struthers-Dunn is a broad line manufacturer of electro-mechanical, hybrid, solid-state relays and sockets used in industrial applications.
