New Hilti SID 121-A and SIW 121-A Cordless Impact Driver and Impact Wrench
TULSA, Okla. - September 19, 2006 - Cordless and compact, the Hilti SID 121-A and SIW 121-A cordless impact driver and impact wrench offer high torque, power and durability to handle a wide variety of applications.
The SID 121-A features a torque rating of 1,155 inch-pounds and the SIW 121-A features a torque of 1,290 inch-pounds to give professionals the power they need for virtually any project. For superior comfort, the cordless impact driver and impact wrench have very little reactionary torque, so users can work longer, which helps increase jobsite productivity. With two digitally controlled speeds for better screw fastening performance, the operator can select the right speed for their application.
For added durability and a longer life, the SID 121-A and SIW 121-A are equipped with dual spindle bearings and a drop-resistant casing made from a glass fiber composite. For better visibility during use, the cordless impact wrench and driver also feature a powerful triple LED lighting system, which is built into the nose of the tool for optimum illumination of the working area without annoying shadows.
Available with either a 3.0-Ah NiMH or 2.0-Ah NiCd battery, which contain the highest grade cells for maximum performance from each charge, the SID 121-A and SIW 121-A can be ready in just 30 minutes. With glass fiber reinforced casing, the batteries are built to withstand daily jobsite use just like the tools.
The SID 121-A and SIW 121-A cordless impact driver and impact wrench are covered under Hilti Lifetime Service, so they will be serviced quickly and reliably, if needed, with no additional cost for two years. During the lifetime repair cost limit, which begins after the two-year no cost period, the tool will have a maximum repair cost of no greater than 30 percent of the list price of a new tool. Once the tool is repaired, it receives an additional six months of no cost service.
The lifetime manufacturer's warranty covers the tool against manufacturer defects for the life of the tool.*
