June 29, 2011 - Available with multiple illumination options and various cap sizes and colors, TL1265 Series offers life expectancy of 500,000 cycles, contact rating of 50 mA at 12 Vdc, and initial max contact resistance of 100 mW. Dielectric strength is 500 Vdc for 1 minute and operating temperature is -20 to +70°C. Supporting SPST, Off-(On), and Momentary functions, switch is suited for A/V applications, computer peripherals, consumer electronics, and instrumentation markets.

TL1265 Series Tact Switch Offers Vertical Termination and Brilliant Illumination


MINNEAPOLIS, MN --- E-Switch announces the TL1265 series illuminated tact switch. This small tact switch has a 500,000 lifecycle expectancy and multiple illumination options. You have a choice between a few cap sizes and cap colors.

Specifications include:

o Life Expectancy: 500,000 cycles

o Contact Rating: 50mA @ 12VDC;

o Contact Resistance (Initial Max): 100mW

o Insulation Resistance: 100 MW min at 500VDC

o Dielectric Strength: 500 VDC for 1 minute

o Operating Temperature: -20°C to +70°C

o Operating Force: 160gf ± 50gf

o Travel: 0.20mm ± 0.10mm

o Function: SPST, Off-(On), Momentary
