July 14, 2009 - Featuring sharp, tactile response with 180 ±50 gf force and 0.2 ±0.1 mm travel, TL1220 is rated for mechanical life of 500,000 cycles minimum. It has contact rating of 50 mA at 12 Vdc, contact resistance of 100 mW (initial max) at 1.5 Vdc, and insulation resistance of 100 MW (minimum at 500 Vdc). Dielectric strength is 500 Vac and operating temperature is -20 to 70°C. Applications include telecom, consumer electronics, audio/visual, medical, and computer/peripherals.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN --- E-Switch introduces the latest illuminated tactile switch, the TL1220. This switch has multiple illuminated cap options that include graphics. It has a sharp, tactile response. Specifications include:

o Mechanical Life - 500,000 cycles min.

o Force - 180 ± 50 gf

o Travel - 0.2mm ± 0.1mm

o Contact Rating - 50mA @ 12 VDC

o Contact Resistance - 100 milliohms (initial max) @ 1.5VDC

o Insulation Resistance - 100 Megaohms (Min. @ 500VDC)

o Dielectric Strength - 500VAC

o Operating Temperature - minus 20C to + 70C

o Bounce - 10m second max
