Three Rivers, Massachusetts, USA - A 10-diopter swing-away magnifying lens, usually a $100 accessory on competitive systems, is now a standard feature mounted free of charge on all O.C. White Vision LiteŽ illuminated magnifiers, the company announced today. The 10-diopter lens can be swiveled into position by the operator for an instant magnification boost as needed for applications such as questionable defects or problems on an inspection piece, working with tiny parts, etc. When moved into position, the lens instantly combines with the large 3-diopter lens for 13-diopter magnification.
O.C. White's Vision LiteŽ is a patented dimmable illuminated magnifier with a Mil Std. 2000 approved lens. The unit features Full Spectrum Lighting, which provides the full range of wavelengths - closest to natural daylight - for reduced eye fatigue and higher-reliability inspection, particularly for lead-free soldering inspection applications.
