A new, compact ignition wire terminal mini die applicator that can be used with a broad range of automatic wire processing machines or bench presses is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Bradenton, Florida.
The ETCO Ignition Terminal Mini Die Applicator is suitable for automatic wire processing machines and bench presses that accept standard mini-style dies and features a precision air feed capable of handling large terminals. Easy to use with a variety of terminal and wire sizes, the crimp height can be adjusted while the applicator is in the press by simply turning a dial.
Approximately 30% lighter and more compact than typical die-set applicators used for ignition terminals, the ETCO Ignition Terminal Mini Die Applicator can process up to 3,500 terminals-per-hour in an automatic wire processing machine, claims the firm. It can apply terminals ranging from 1/2" to 2" L and accommodate 5mm, 7mm, 8mm, 8.5mm, and 9mm wire sizes.
