February 25, 2005 - Offered in Push-to-Reset and Automatic Reset configurations, Series 18 has weatherproof, trip-free design. It features Short Circuit Interruption up to 3,000 A and is available in ratings of 2–60 A with voltage ratings of 32 Vdc/120 Vac. Series is validated to requirements of Society of Automotive engineers (SAE), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), and US Coast guard as well as other Military Standards (MIL-STD).

New Series 18 Circuit Breaker Complies with UL 1500 for Ignition Proof Devices

Mechanical Products Company (MP) is introducing a new circuit breaker, designated Series 18 and recommended for marine, heavy equipment, truck, bus, off-road, RV and electric vehicle battery protection applications.

The new Series 18 weatherproof, trip-free design circuit breaker is available in ratings of 2 - 60 amperes with voltage ratings of 32VDC/120VAC and offering Short Circuit Interruption of up to 3,000 amps. The Series 18 is available in Push-to-Reset and Automatic Reset configuration.

The MP Series 18 expands the specified performance capabilities of a classic circuit design and is validated to the requirements of the Society of Automotive engineers (SAE), Underwriters Laboratories (UL), American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and the US Coast guard as well as various other Military Standards (MIL-STD).
