Schwank Heaters, Waynesboro, Ga., a leading international manufacturer of infrared heaters, has introduced the STS-JZ commercial/industrial infrared radiant tube heater featuring quick installation, easy access servicing, and uniform heat distribution for warehouses, industrial plants, service garages, loading docks, school facilities, retail stores and other buildings requiring efficient space heating. .
The STS-JZ Series, which offers eight firing rates from 45,000 to 200,000 Btuh and lengths from 10 to 70 feet long, is the “jazzed up” successor to Schwank’s popular 10-year-old STSp infrared radiant tube heater line.
The STS-JZ:
Distributes heat uniformly because of newly developed webbed hanger plates that promote free passage of entrapped convection heat and a resultant higher tube temperature along the entire length of the tube system.
Saves up to 10 percent in installation labor with a one-piece hanger system that doesn’t require multi-component joinery during installation, has a swaged tube locking system, and offers a unique reflector covered modular 90 elbow kit that can be combined to create a 180 bend.
Provides easy serviceability with a quick latch, drop-down burner enclosure that allows fast access and test-firing even while open. If outside air is needed due to poor combustion air quality or negative air pressure conditions, a fresh air intake collar is standard with the burner.
The STS-JZ offers a 10-year warranty on the whisper quiet burner cup and heat exchanger tubes, plus a 3-year warranty on all other parts.
