Units extend viewing range of IP-based outdoor cameras in situations where there is little or no ambient light, making them suited for remote site surveillance systems. Industrial Video & Control Co. Introduces New IR Illuminators


Industrial Video & Control now shipping new, low-cost lighting systems for its outdoor camera line.

Newton, MA - June 1, 2009 - Industrial Video & Control Co. (IVC), a leading provider of networked-based video surveillance systems, announced today that it has introduced a new line of infrared illuminators for use with its extensive IP camera line.

IVC is a manufacturer of IP-based cameras and developer of advanced software for managing networks of video systems. "All of our outdoor cameras are sensitive to infrared light," states Norm Fast, IVC's President. "Our new infrared illuminators offer an inexpensive way to extend the viewing range of our cameras in situations
where there is little or no ambient light. They are an ideal component for a remote site surveillance system."

The initial product offering from IVC includes short, medium, and long range options providing 850nm illumination up to 180 meters. Units include built-in photo sensor.
IVC camera offering includes pan-tilt zoom, fixed, zoom-only and varifocal (manual zoom) cameras. IVC manufactures cameras that are suitable for the harshest weather and environmental conditions; their cameras have been certified for use in Class I Div 1 and Class I Div 2 (inherently dangerous) environments. IVC camera systems combine their camera products and state-of-the-art management software. Their Relay Server and View Station software packages enable remote viewing and control of video as well as management of all aspects of your surveillance systems. IVC software also facilitates integration of video into 3rd party applications.
