The use of color display technology in consumer products, driven by demand for more attractive, easier-to-use devices such as mobile phones and GPS systems, has raised the expectations of many enterprise users regarding their desktop telephones. The ShorePhone IP 565g features a high-resolution backlit color screen that makes it easy for users to see important call information such as Caller ID, missed calls and voicemail indicators. The ShorePhone IP 565g is available now in the U.S., Canada, Australia and EU countries and requires the latest ShoreTel system software release -- ShoreTel 7.5. Pricing is US $599, 480 euros, UK 310 pounds. Availability is expected in New Zealand later in the first quarter of 2008.
