New Wren IP MiniGlobe Cameras Combine Pixim Image Quality with High Usability

Superb Image Quality Increases Surveillance Capabilities, Applications

ATLANTA, Sept. 1 /-- Wren , a provider of enterprise video management solutions since 1983, today introduced a new line of IP MiniGlobes featuring Pixim's Digital Pixel System technology for unparalleled image quality regardless of lighting condition or application. The Pixim-Powered Wren IP MiniGlobes are able to deliver superior color rendering and the optimal exposure in uncontrolled lighting conditions 24 hours a day. MiniGlobes are available with recessed and pendant mounts and detention grade models are offered with surface and pendant mounting options, all of which deliver superior imagery using the Pixim technology.

Designed for easy installation and low maintenance, the Wren IP MiniGlobes include built-in audio and alarm I/O for increased configuration options. Outfitted with Pixim wide dynamic range cameras as a standard option, the solutions ensure optimal camera performance in a wide range of lighting conditions. All MiniGlobes, including the detention grade pendant and surface mount, are equipped with a third axis bracket, which enables easy and secure mounting with the flexibility to aim the camera in any direction, to capture the right shot in any environment. These new high-quality IP cameras join the ranks of other Wren products, designed to advance physical security and operations through easy access to video.

"Having the highest-quality images gives customers the ability to use video for more sophisticated, intelligent surveillance applications," said Andrew Wren, president of Wren. "When used in combination with our enterprise-grade software, high-quality video becomes even more valuable not only for security, but for driving improvements in risk management and operations."

Wren's newest generation of IP cameras is easy to install on existing IT infrastructure and operates seamlessly with Wren's software solutions including its VMS Software.

About Pixim Digital Pixel System

Pixim's Digital Pixel System technology revolutionizes the way video cameras capture and process images. Unlike traditional cameras, where each pixel cannot adjust to highlights and lowlights in the same scene, Pixim's patented Digital Pixel System technology empowers hundreds of thousands of pixels to act like constantly self-adjusting individual cameras. This all-digital system enables Pixim-Powered cameras to efficiently capture the whole picture, regardless of lighting condition or application - thus securing the highest resolution, natural color and clarity, while automatically eliminating image-compromising visual noise (e.g., glare, reflections). The result is more than superb image quality; it is accurate, actionable information that gives users the strength of certainty.
