ECOMM CONFERENCE, SAN FRANCISCO, -- CounterPath Corporation (TSX-V: CCV; OTCBB: CPAH), an award-winning provider of desktop and mobile voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) software solutions, today announced the launch of NomadicPBX, the world's first turnkey platform for enabling converged mobile and broadband Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) voice, messaging and presence services. Available immediately, NomadicPBX gives wireless carriers and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) a cost-effective way to launch enterprise fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) services.
The NomadicPBX application is a presence-based, fixed and mobile voice, and instant messaging/short message service (IM/SMS) technology mashup with a select set of enterprise-ready features.
