ProHold 4 in. double-acting, 2-station vise offers full bi-directional hydraulic actuation with up to 6,000 lb of clamp/unclamp force. Each station clamps independently, allowing various size parts to be fixtured in same machining operation. Configurable for ID/OD clamping, 1.75 in. long stroke holds odd-shaped, undercut, or large parts. Powered unclamp cycle permits vise to open even when holding heavy parts, and internal pressure compensation maintains hydraulic clamping force.

ProHold 4" Double Acting Hydraulic Vise Provides Flexible Production Workholding
Planet Products Corporation introduces the ProHold 4" double acting two station hydraulic vise for production workholding applications. The patented design offers full bi-directional hydraulic actuation with up to 6000 lbs of clamp and unclamp force. Each station clamps independently of the other, allowing various size parts to be fixtured in the same machining operation. The hydraulic double acting feature provides for fully automated applications via remote hydraulic control.
Easily configurable for ID or OD clamping , the 1.75" long stroke easily holds odd shaped, undercut, or large parts. The powered unclamp cycle permits the vise to open even when holding very heavy parts. Internal pressure compensation by individual accumulators maintains hydraulic clamping force throughout the machining cycle. Quick change top jaws are available in either machinable steel or aluminum, or hard jaws with replaceable hardened and ground inserts.
