Poclain Hydraulics Launches Its New MG02 Motor for Steering Wheels at the BAUMA, in Shanghai

Poclain Hydraulics completes its range of hydraulic motors for steering wheels with its new MG02 motor.

The compact and lightweight MG02 motor easily integrates into the chassis of industrial vehicles and shortens their turning radius thanks to its significant swivel angle. The MG02 motor thus offers manufacturers of construction and material handling machinery new design perspectives.

Facilitated assembly

The MG02 motor optimises the design of motorized steering wheels. The integration of the pivot function, steering attachments and bevel stops on the casing of the MG02 motor simplify the assembly of motorized steering wheels on a chassis.

Savings in weight and dimensions Compared to a design that uses a mechanical steering axle, the steering wheels equipped with the MG02 motor offer machines a greater architectural flexibility and also provide savings in terms of weight and dimensions.

Increased maneuverability

Compared to a vehicle equipped with an articulated chassis, a vehicle fitted with motorized steering wheels offers a better steering angle and can consequently perform u-turns in a smaller area using fewer movements. Articulated chassis Chassis with motorized steering wheels.
