Comprised of top ported return line hydraulic filters, KL3 Series has thread bowl design that aids removal/installation of filter bowl during element change out. It takes proprietary K elements in K, KK, and 27K length versions for applications with flow rates to 100 gpm. For applications with flow up to 120 gpm, 18 in. LC element can be used in combination with 2 in. porting. Filters meet HF4 automotive standard and can also be used in steel making, machine tool, and mining applications.

Schroeder Industries Introduces the KL3 Series Hydraulic Filters
Leetsdale, PA - Schroeder Industries, a recognized leader in filtration and fluid conditioning products, introduces its KL3 Series top ported return line hydraulic filters. The KL3 is designed to provide improved servability by adopting a thread bowl design, allowing for easier removal and installation of the filter bowl during element change out. The exclusion of mounting flanges between the head and bowl eliminates the risk of misplacing loose parts while the bowl is removed. The design of the KL3 is ideal for applications with limited clearances above the filter head, in which installation and removal of the flange mounted bowl becomes difficult. This engineered product meets HF4 automotive standard and, in addition to the automotive industry, the KL3 can also be used in steel making, mobile, machine tool, and mining technology applications.
The KL3 series filter takes Schroeder's most popular K elements in K, KK, and 27K length versions for applications with flow rates up to 100 gpm. The standardized elements make inventory consolidation possible. For high flow applications (up to 120 gpm), the 18" LC element can used in combination with the 2" porting to minimize the pressure drop. The light weight, cast aluminum head can accommodate a wide variety of Schroeder visual and electrical Dirt Alarms®. Schroeder test points can be used on both upstream and downstream test ports. An optional drain allows fluid to be drained out for easier disassembling of the bowl. As with all of Schroeder Industries' products, the KL3 provides guaranteed quality that always assures oil cleanliness.
