USB Connectivity for New Hydraulic Data Logger



Webster Instruments, Milwaukee, WI has launched a new handheld hydraulic data logger that is ideal for portable diagnostic applications as well as for installation on hydraulic test benches. The new HPM540 handheld data-logger with USB connectivity provides superior user flexibility allowing easy connection of up to four sensors and monitoring or data logging direct to laptop any combination of flow, pressure, temperature, speed and analog inputs. The HPM540 has a sampling rate of up to 0.25 ms, ideal for capturing pressure spikes, and offers data logging by time interval,
on event, or on user input.

The rechargeable battery powered HPM540 data-logger features 'Sensor Recognition' (SR) which automatically recognizes which SR series sensor is connected and automatically scales the input as well as engineering units. The HPM540 is the latest addition to the SR family of products and comes complete with free Windows© compatible HPMComm analysis software, USB cable and universal AC battery charger.
