January 21, 2005 - Compact, heavy-duty crimping tools 1370 and 1387G3 use interchangeable, hexagonal die sets from 6 AWG through 4/0 and 10 through 95 mm² that can be changed in seconds. Powered by 3 A-hr Ni-Mh battery, 1370 incorporates hand guard for operator safety. Model 1387G3 hand tool has integral molded handles for operator comfort. Both tools come with molded carrying case, which is compartmentalized for tool and crimping dies.

Anderson Power Products® (APP), a leader in interconnect solutions, introduces two new compact, heavy duty, hydraulic crimping tools; the 1370 and 1387G3. Both tools use interchangeable, hexagonal die sets which can quickly be changed in a matter of seconds.

The highly durable 1370 tool is battery powered with a 3 amp-hour Ni-Mh battery, one of the most powerful in its class, delivering longer running times than competitive tools. The 6 ton pump provides plenty of crimping power, and the integral hand guard enhances operator safety. The 1370 tool includes a spare battery, charging station and a rugged, molded carrying case, which is custom compartmentalized for the tool, accessories and crimping dies.

The 1387G3 hand tool is one of the most compact and robust 6 ton tools available. The tool delivers an abundance of crimping power and the integral molded handles offer superior operator comfort. The 1387G3 tool includes a molded carrying case, which is custom compartmentalized for the tool and a large assortment of crimping dies.

Dies sets for the 1370 and 1387G3 tools are offered from 6 AWG through 4/0 and 10mm² through 95mm².

hose crimping machine

Dear Mr. Adda,
We are a factory of barrier liner for transporting and storage goods placed near Barcelona (Spain). Besides this we also produce a machine for filling our bags and liners and for that we are interested in a hydraulic crimping machine similar to your Ref.1370 or 1387G3 or(?). Our interest is to crimp an aluminium tube of a thickness wall around 0.8 mm and a diameter of 60 mm to press and fix the charge spout of the bag. This means to close the aluminium tube to the max in order to closed the bag. (this spout is quit strong, we want to crimp it when the spout is twisted and so we are talking of that diameter).
Can you please inform about your best solution? Is it possible to see some video with the application?
