Part of SRM family of FHSS modems, 900 MHz Model SRM6220 and 2.4 GHz Model SRM6320 provide UDP Ethernet to serial bridging as well as EtherNet/IP to DF1 bridging, allowing legacy DF1 equipment to be incorporated into EtherNet/IP network without adding intermediate devices. Wireless units offer reliable performance in harsh industrial environments and include SetLinc(TM) software to facilitate configuration.

Hybrid Modems Now Available with EtherNet/IP to DF1 Bridging
August 14, 2008 - Data-Linc Group announced today the latest upgrade to its SRM6x20 hybrid Ethernet with serial tunneling modems. Both the 900MHz and 2.4GHz versions offer not only UDP Ethernet to serial but also feature EtherNet/IP to DF1 bridging. This bridging allows legacy DF1 equipment to be incorporated into an EtherNet/IP network without adding intermediate devices. Only the modem is required for this integration thus reducing cost and increasing efficiency. The accompanying, SetLincTM software makes SRM6x20 configuration easy and intuitive.
Data-Linc's hybrid modems are a part of the SRM Family of license-free, frequency hopping spread spectrum wireless modems renowned for their long-range, robust and reliable performance in the harshest industrial environments. Both the 900MHz SRM6220 and the 2.4GHz SRM6320 are backward compatible with the respective SRM6x10Es, and in specified situations, support connectivity with SRM6x00 serial modems.
