VISTA, Calif., March 2 -- LaCantina Doors is starting 2009 off with its most innovative door to date; the Aluminum-Wood system. Affectionately named by us as "Aliwood," this hybrid door combines the consistency and strength of aluminum with the beauty of a selection of real wood interiors.

Virtually identical in appearance to our most popular clad-wood product, the Aliwood is catching attention by simply providing everything you want with a low-maintenance exterior folding door system. New concealed locking mechanisms are standard, providing a discrete locking function with an easy turn of the handle.

As the country has taken in the effects of the recession and the housing crisis, LaCantina Doors has continued to focus on designing and manufacturing products that improve the LaCantina experience. Matt Power, President of LaCantina Doors said, "Our product testing and customer feedback on the Aliwood makes us very confident that people will want to take advantage of its features and value."
