Offering efficiencies up to 99%, FOURTEX(TM) 4-Vortex Dual Cyclone Dust Collection Systems are made of solid welded, industrial-grade, heavy cold-rolled sheet steel with chemical and corrosion-resistant Durethane DTM coatings. Exhaust gas from first cyclone is fed into inlet of second, providing cumulative effect on removing dust particles. There is no internal filter media to maintain or replace and no sludge, water clean-up, or disposal as with wet type dust collectors.

Highly Efficient, 4-Vortex Hybrid Cyclones Replace Cartridge Collectors
New FOURTEX(TM) 4-Vortex Dual Cyclone Dust Collection Systems by ProVent, LLC are uniquely designed for processes where cartridge filter media and water based systems are too costly or involve too much maintenance to keep them running. The FOURTEX(TM) is also an excellent alternative to wet type dust collectors or where filtration media cannot be used.
How it works...
The FOURTEX(TM) design provides two highly efficient cyclones in-series on a single platform. In this arrangement, the exhaust gas from the first cyclone is fed into the inlet of the second. This has a cumulative effect on removing dust particles. For example, when the first cyclone collects 90% of the 10-micron particles, the second will collect 90% of the 10-micron particles remaining. The resulting cumulative efficiency is 99%. All systems are designed using high efficiency features including specific length-to-diameter ratios and involute inlet configurations.
