New Computer Controlled Humidity Generator for Accurate Sample Conditioning

Newly available from Celsum Technologies is the HGC Humidity Generator and Controller is a unique, flexible solution for providing an accurate relative humidity environment for many applications, such as conditioning samples for laboratory and QA testing, and for electronic components assessment. The HGC can control the humidity of a chamber of up to nominally 2,000 ml volume to a relative humidity of 85% at temperatures between 5°C and 85°C.

Automated valving, controlled by a humidity sensor at the sample site, diverts some of the pre-dried air flow through a water reservoir before being pumped to the sample.

The HGC features simple-to-use software operation through Microsoft Excel(TM), easily ties in with other equipment, has a heated transfer line to avoid condensation, and its compact design assures portability.

Applications include thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), atomic force microscopy (AFM), spectroscopy, thermomechanical analysis (DMA, DMTA, TMA), rheometry, with materials such as pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs, polymers, biologics, petrochemicals, nanomaterials, ceramics, over in a wide range of industries.

The instrument operates from a mains supply between 85V and 264V AC at 150VA, has a footprint of 178mm depth x 365mm width x 350mm height, and weighs in at 14kg.
