Skuttle® Announces 2100-Series Humidifiers with Compensating Humidistats
(Marietta, OH) Skuttle Indoor Air Quality Products is proud to introduce its 2100-Series Flow-Thru Humidifiers, each model equipped with a Compustat™ Automatic Humidifier Control. The new, high-capacity humidifiers (complements to Skuttle’s popular 2000-Series Flow-Thrus) are scheduled to hit the market on or near August 1. The well-established 2000, 2001 and 2002 models will continue to be sold with manual humidistats.
New 2100-Series Humidifiers include:
• Model 2100 Bypass Flow-Thru, with an output capacity of 14 gallons per day;
• Model 2101 Bypass Flow-Thru, with an output capacity of 18 gallons per day;
• and Model 2102 Fan-Powered Flow-Thru, with an output capacity of 19 gallons per day.
Standard on the 2100-Series units as well as Skuttle’s complete line of duct-mount Steam Humidifiers, Compustat automatically adjusts humidifier output to compensate for changes in the outdoor temperature. It helps prevent over-humidification in the event of a sudden outside temperature drop. Compustat is effective on all Skuttle humidifiers plus most major brands of whole-house humidifiers, and is available as an accessory.
