Hugger Belt Clamshell labeling system consists of hugger belt product transport system with infeed belt conveyor. Top/bottom labeling system has stainless steel and anodized aluminum construction and pair of Model 3115 Wipe-On label applicators. Containers, filled or empty, are conveyed at speeds of up to 70/min then transferred on hugger belt system, exposing the top and bottom container panels for label application. Pressure sensitive lales are applied with placement accuracy of ± 1/32 in.

Label-Aire Launches New Hugger Belt Clamshell Labeling System
The new Label-Aire® Hugger Belt Clamshell labeling system is designed to accurately apply top/bottom decorative labels to clamshell containers for a variety of consumer packaged goods.
Fullerton, Calif. - Label-Aire, the innovative company that first brought to the packaging industry 40 years ago the patented "air-blow" concept for applying pressure-sensitive labels, is at it again with its new Hugger Belt Clamshell labeling system.
Label-Aire's latest labeling system consists of a hugger belt product transport system with an infeed belt conveyor for easy product loading/transfer. The result was top/bottom custom labeling system featuring stainless steel and anodized aluminum construction with a pair of industry-proven Label-Aire 3115 Wipe-On label applicators. As the clear containers (filled or empty) come down the conveyor at speeds of up to 70 products per minute, they are seamlessly transferred on the hugger belt system, exposing the top and bottom container panels for label application. When needed, the system can be adapted for higher speeds while maintaining label placement accuracy of ±1/32" (.8 mm). In addition to higher throughput and label placement accuracy, The Hugger Belt Clamshell labeling system is able to provide a cost-effective solution that will grow with customers as their volume increases.
