WESTFIELD, Mass., August 25 - RBI now offers new Vertical Glass Lined Jacketed and Insulated or Bare ASME Storage Tanks designed to provide a large volume supply of hot water at a constant outlet temperature. The RBI Storage Tanks range in size from 200 through 3,000-gallon capacities, and can be used in conjunction with RBI's high efficiency water heaters to handle any water heating application.
The products' advanced engineering design features a cobalt-rich TRU-Blue glass lining and an internal stratification baffle which is designed to create more usable hot water. In addition, magnesium anode rods eliminate any 'shadowing' of the protected surfaces and 2-inch R-16 foam insulation surrounds the tank, exceeding ASHRAE standards for standby heat losses. All RBI storage tanks are certified to Section 5 "HLW" of the ASME Standards and operate with a standard working pressure of 125 psi. Heavy gauge jacketing in galvanized metal, combined with an acrylic enamel coating, lead to longer service life and better performance, and all tank models come with a 5-year warranty.
