TapMaster Carbide-Tipped Hot Tap Pilots with Dual Retention Wires
Concord, CA – PipeMan Products, Inc. of Concord, CA is proud to announce the availability of two new lower cost TapMaster Carbide-Tipped Hot Tap Pilots with Dual Retention Wires. They are available in two different diameters, 3/8” diameters and 1/2” diameters with overall lengths of 4-1/4”, 5.0” and 6.0”.
These newly designed hot tap pilots have been structured to capture the “coupon” when hot tapping so the metal or plastic coupon when cut out doesn’t drop down into the pipe and block the flow of water or other materials. Our hot tap pilot drills come with dual wires so you are essentially assured of removing the coupon for inspection by your customer and/or inspector. The new “No Flute” design, has a lower cost, yet provides a stronger unit where breakage is virtually eliminated.
