September 16, 2009 - Featuring 12 in. square ceramic heater top with temperature range to 450°C, Model HS15 can heat and stir five 800 mL beakers at stirring range of 100-1,500 rpm. Unit measures 12.5 x 19 x 5.25 in. and can support over 50 lb on plate surface. Chassis design keeps spills out of interior of unit, and all controls are mounted well in front of heater surface to protect against accidental burns. Product is available in 100 Vac/50 Hz, 115 Vac/60 Hz, 220 Vac/60 Hz, and 230 Vac/50 Hz.

NEW 5 Position Stirring Hot Plate


San Marcos , CA - Torrey Pines Scientific, Inc. announces its new 5-position Model HS15 stirring hot plate with individual stirring control for each vessel.

The large 12" (30.48cm) square ceramic heater top has a temperature range to 450°C. The unit can heat and stir 5-800ml beakers. Stirring range is from 100 to 1500 rpm.
The unit measures 19" (43.2cm) deep by 12.5" (31.75cm) wide by 5.25" (13.4cm) tall. It can support more than 50 pounds (22.6kg) on the plate surface, and the chassis is designed to keep spills out of the interior of the unit.

All controls are mounted well in front of the heater surface to protect against accidental burns.

The HS15 is available in 100VAC/50Hz, 115VAC/60Hz, 220VAC/60Hz and 230VAC/50Hz. It is fused for safety and is supplied with user's manual and detachable line cord for the country of use. It is UL, CSA and CE or equivalent rated.
