September 1, 2005 - Portable, self-contained Hot Air Shrink System utilizes Leister Hotwind-S hot air blower, which ranges from 2,000-5,400 W and reaches up to 1,472°F with air flows to 38 cfm. Operating at up to 49 fpm, system includes 3 ft x 4 in. DornerŪ variable-speed conveyor, adjustable guide rails, and anodized aluminum stand with locking casters. It adjusts to height and angle of existing packaging lines, and is suited for shrink-packaging, drying, curing, and laminating.

Portable Hot Air Shrink Station for Tamper-Proof Bands and Full Body Labels


A fully portable, self-contained conveyorized hot air shrink station for tamper-proof bands and full body shrink labels that is fully adjustable to fit existing packaging lines or handle overflow production requirements is being introduced by Malcom Hot Air Systems of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

The Malcom Hot Air Shrink System is turnkey and includes a 3 ft. long x 4"W DornerŪ variable speed conveyor, fully adjustable guide rails, and a rugged anodized aluminum rolling stand with locking casters. Featuring the Leister Hotwind-S hot air blower, this self-contained shrink station can operate at up to 49 FPM and adjust to the height and angle of existing packaging lines.

Suitable for a wide range of shrink-packaging, drying, curing, laminating, and related hot air applications, the Malcom Hot Air Shrink System can be supplied with a variety of optional shrink tunnel accessories and attachments. Hotwind-S hot air blowers are available from 2000 to 5400 Watts that reach up to 1,472°F with air flows to 38 CFM, depending upon model.

The Malcom Hot Air Shrink System is priced from $3,995.00 plus the cost of shrink tunnel accessories. Literature and pricing are available on request.
