A hot air floor seaming machine that lets users dial in a flooring manufacturer's parameters and display them for exact reproducibility is being introduced by Malcom Company, Inc. of Tiverton, Rhode Island.
Malcom's Leister UNIFLOOR Hot Air Floor Welding Machine features a digital display of set and actual values to let operators dial in any flooring manufacturer's parameters and make permanent seams virtually automatically. Fully adjustable from 3 to 24 FPM, with air flow from 5.5 to 10.5 CFM and temperature from 70° to 1250°F, this welding machine has a guide wheel that tracks in the groove while the welding rod fills in the seam behind it.
Designed for PVC-P, PE, linoleum, vinyl, and other floor coverings made from modified thermoplastics, without the need for reconfiguring any hard-ware, Malcom's Leister UNIFLOOR Hot Air Floor Welding Machine automatically starts when the heat gun is engaged and is equipped with autostop bumper switches. Applications include commercial and retail establishments, schools, hospitals, and sports clubs including floors and indoor courts.
