New Hospital Bed Inclinometer Promotes Faster Healing
Lev-o-gage® HL and Lev-o-gage® HR get patients on their feet sooner.
For recuperation from surgical procedures, it's important that a patient's upper body be elevated to a particular angle for most rapid healing and recovery. New Lev-o-gage® HL (Item #201-HL) and Lev-o-gage® HR (Item #201-HR) inclinometers answer this need. Introduced in fall 2008, each unit is 2.75" W x 1.65" H x 0.45" D and weighs 0.5 oz.
Designed to be mounted on either the left, right or both sides of a hospital bed, these tilt indicators allow hospital staff to adjust a bed's angle to an exact degree of incline--positioning a patient's upper body at the optimal angle for most rapid healing. This proper angle is important not only to speed healing, but also to prevent bed sores and increase general patient comfort.
The indicator tube is made of a flexible, unbreakable clear polymer, and its Saturn yellow background makes it easy to see. Numerals and hashmarks are engraved in the black housing and paint-filled in bright white for easy reading and. The indicator ball rides in special damping fluid. Housing is made of high impact ABS plastic.
