June 6, 2002 - Saberjet™ multipurpose nozzle operates at pressures as low as 50 psi for reduced firefighter fatigue, or up to 100 psi for maximum flows. Applications include interior, exterior, and high rise attacks, foam, direct and indirect attacks, cooling, protection, and ventilation. Nozzles are available in 1 in.(fog flows of 60 gpm) or 1 1/2 in.(fog flows of 95 gpm) full time swivel inlets with solid bore tips of 3/8, 1/2, or 5/8 in.

Akron® introduces its new additions to the SaberJet nozzle family. The SaberJet family is the first truly multipurpose nozzle line with the penetration of a solid bore tip and the advantages of a fog pattern at the same time or independently. This nozzle is capable of operating efficiently at pressures as low as 50 psi for reduced firefighter fatigue, or up to 100 psi for maximum flows. This versatile nozzle is well suited for multiple applications: interior, exterior, and high rise attacks, foam applications, direct and indirect attacks, cooling, protection, and ventilation. The new SaberJet nozzles are available in 1" or 1 1/2" full time swivel inlets with solid bore tip options of 3/8", 1/2", or 5/8".
