October 21, 2002 - Model 7112A, 12 in. bandsaw has precision carbide and ball bearing blade guide assemblies mounted on dual adjustable arms. It provides proper blade alignment, blade support, and consistent square cuts. Equipped with direct drive gearbox and motor drive system, saw blade is powered without use of belts. Model 7112A includes AC inverter, infinitely variable speed control (65 to 400 sfm), fully automatic hydraulic shuttle workpiece feed system, and 1¼ inch saw blade.

12" Fully Automatic Horizontal Bandsaw, Model 7112A
Wilton Machinery has added a new 12" fully automatic horizontal production bandsaw, model 7112A. This saw is a top quality machine designed to cut a wide range of materials.
This machine features precision carbide and ball bearing blade guide assemblies mounted on the dual adjustable arms to ensure proper blade alignment, maximum blade support, and consistent accurate square cuts.
Equipped with an advanced direct drive gearbox and motor drive system, this system powers the blade without the use of belts. This "no belt" system maximizes the power of the motor to the blade while minimizing vibration. The precision gearbox with bronze worm gear and a hardened and ground worm screw operate in an oil bath delivering quiet, consistent surface feet per minute to the blade.
The model 7112A offers such features as an AC inverter, infinitely variable speed control 65-400 SFM, a fully automatic hydraulic shuttle workpiece feed system, and the use of a 1-1/4 inch saw blade. The 7112A allows for increased productivity and through-put as well as lower cost per cut.
Operator safety is highlighted. For safety and convenience, the 7112A features a front mounted control panel with ergonomic design. All controls are labeled and easy to operate and the touch screen control is conveniently located and easy to program. Also equipped as standard is a safety electrical package. The control panel is fitted inside a sealed enclosure with thermal overload protection and an emergency stop button for maximum operator safety.
