Ossid's Integrity Horizontal Form-Fill-Seal Machine at Pack Expo for First Time
Ossid’s Integrity delivers a new level of performance for applications of 10 to 15 cycles per minute. (Ossid Pack Expo 2012 Booth #3913)
Rocky Mount, NC — Ossid, powered by Pro Mach, will show its Integrity horizontal form-fill-seal machine for the first time at Pack Expo. The Integrity is rated at 10 to 15 cycles per minute (CPM) and is designed to meet USDA meat, poultry, dairy, and 3-A Sanitary Standards. It also complies with PackML and can be customized for customer specific applications. (Ossid Pack Expo 2012 Booth #3913)
“We’ve built the Integrity horizontal form-fill-seal machine from the ground up to be the ideal price/performance platform for the 10-15 CPM segment of the market,” said Ernie Newell, vice president and general manager, Ossid. “Customers will find the unit exceptional as is. They will also discover that its modular design accommodates application customization in terms of mechanics, control, and communication and that it meets customer requirements in the areas of production, sanitation, quality control, and maintenance.”
The Integrity horizontal form-fill-seal machine will be available in web widths of 320, 355, 420, and 459 mm respectively and indexes of up to 600 mm.
The base unit comes with servo-driven clip chain drive and pneumatic presses. Complete electric systems are also available. The pneumatic system is mounted with “rain” protection, and the small electrical cabinet provides for smaller overall machine footprint and easy access to tooling and maintenance.
Pack ML compliance means faster integration and easier changes and maintenance of the control program. Ethernet connectivity plus an intuitive operator interface with embedded documentation and troubleshooting information are standard features. For fast, effective technical support, the Integrity horizontal form-fill-seal machine offers remote diagnostics via web browser.
The machine was designed for easy cleaning with door panels on all sides that can be tilted as well as removed, sloped tops, guards, covers, limited high surfaces, and welded frame members to limit overlapping junctions. Integrity is scheduled to meet USDA meat, poultry, dairy, and 3-A Sanitary Standards.
