MINNEAPOLIS (November 22, 2002) - Donaldson® Torit® raises the standard of air filtration flexibility with its Modular MediaFilterâ„¢ - Horizontal Series collectors. This highly adaptable line of collectors effectively filters mist, smoke, dust and fume in a variety of applications including grinding, wet machining and soldering.
The key to Modular MediaFilter's adaptability is its unique modular design that allows for customization to specific filtration applications. With its ceiling mount, horizontal design and variety of available design layouts, integration into an industrial setting is easy. Modular MediaFilter is also available in Vertical configuration.

Modular MediaFilters are available with a wide range of power packs, prefilters, filters and module options for added flexibility. These options allow the system to be tailored for maximum effectiveness in a given application.
Modular MediaFilter - Horizontal Series is available in eight different models that vary in power, size, filter and drainage options to suit a range of industrial air filtration needs. Each is available as either an ambient or source collector. Modular MediaFilter is also specifically designed for easy filter changeout and simple maintenance. and is backed by Donaldson's industry-leading service and support.
Available features of Modular MediaFilter include a 40 percent ASHRAE Multi-Vee prefilter for dry or slightly wet dust or gas and vapor, a four-inch impinger for effective light to heavy mist or dust collection in wet and dry grinding, and an aluminum mesh filter that traps larger particles. There is also an optional first stage high efficiency filter for heavy mist applications. The primary filter removes mist, smoke, dust and fume, while a 95 percent ASHRAE 36-inch fiberglass vee-bag captures remaining mist particles. An optional HEPA Filter Module contains secondary afterfilters for heavy smoke, dust and fume. A durable powder coat finish protects the collector's exterior.
